I was commissioned by the National Park Service to illustrate a unique graphic for the North Country National Scenic Trail. Volunteers and employees who helped to maintain, build and protect the trail received the graphic on both bandanas and shirts. The North Country National Scenic Trail is the longest in the National Trails System, stretching 4,800 miles across eight states from North Dakota to Vermont! It winds along three of the Great Lakes, past countless farmlands, through large cityscapes and vast prairies, over many rivers and streams, and through the famed Adirondacks.
