ABOUT ME

Steve Habersang is a designer, art director and illustrator. Since graduating from Syracuse University in 2002, he has been working professionally for Taylor Design in Stamford, CT.

His detailed pen and ink drawings are a mix of fantasy and realism with a focus on the natural world, animals, and portraits. Influences include artists such as Salvador Dali, M.C. Escher, Norman Rockwell, Lee Conklin, and Shel Silverstein. As well as, street and skate art, tattoo culture, comic books, album covers, beer labels, music posters, and pop surrealism.

Besides art and design, Steve spends his free time fishing, hiking, snowboarding, and mountain biking. Loves the ocean. Has an embarrassingly huge collection of gnomes. And doesn't shy away from a good craft beer. A lifetime Nutmegger, he grew up in a small town in northwest Connecticut, and continues to work and live in Connecticut with his beautiful wife and muse, Kristine.
